Donate to the Patrick McDonough Music Therapy Scholarship Fund
At HeARTS Giving Hope, we believe in the healing powers of music. That’s why, in honor of Patrick McDonough, who courageously battled against cancer, we have created the Patrick McDonough Music Therapy Scholarship Fund. Through his memory, we would like to touch the lives of other children suffering from cancer, disease and other serious illnesses, who may benefit from the healing powers of music.
If you would like to donate to the Patrick McDonough Music Therapy Scholarship Fund, send a check payable to HeARTS Giving Hope Foundation, referencing the Patrick McDonough Fund in the memo line of your check. 100% of the donations received through this fund will go toward providing music therapy scholarships for children battling with cancer, disease and other serious illnesses.
Attend The Gift of Music Fundraiser
HeARTS Giving Hope holds an annual fundraiser concert and silent auction, showcasing Los Angeles’ top performers. Past performers have included New Orleans-styled blues pianist, Bob Malone, multi-instrumentalist Don Teschner (of the Rod Stewart Band), Riddle the Sphinx, Brooke Wilkes, Nadine Zahr, Hollye Dexter and the Brave Souls, Libbie Schrader, Chris Opperman, and Gilli Moon.
Proceeds raised have benefited the music therapy department at California State University at Northridge, to provide music therapy scholarships for autistic children in need of financial aid. Proceeds have also gone towards the development of new music, art and drumming programs for at-risk youth and teens in foster care facilities throughout Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
